Projects
The Park District Board Members take pride in the improvements we bring to the park. Below are some of the projects we have completed, and some new ones that are in progress.
Completed Projects
2016 - Park Expansion Project
This project expanded the baseball complex and included the creation of two new fields on the east side of the four larger diamonds.
2017 - Park Improvement Project
This project included new roofing on Pavilion 2, and the construction of a new storage facility for the equipment used to maintain the ball fields and complex.
2018 - Security Improvement Project
The Security Improvement Project was the first phase of including surveillance equipment on the park property.
2019 - Land Acquisition Project
It’s not often that property sharing a boundary with the district becomes available, when it does we do all we can to acquire it. The result was we increased the size of the park by almost 4 acres!
2020 - Playground Update
The playground was in need of a face lift, so that’s just what we did!
